Remarks – 9-time World Champion Lamberto Collari is running the MRX-5 from Mugen with some MLC modifications done to it. Up front, and soon to be released by MLC, are a pair of front body stabilisers which help transfer front downforce from the body away from the top of the shock tower to the lower wishbones where it is needed. Also tested by 2-time World Champion Adrien Bertin, the part can give a measurable difference in lap times. Choosing OS engines here in Fiorano, he has chosen to use a lightweight Hipex pipe whose surface has been hard coated which not only strengthens it but prevents the pipe from losing strength caused by it constantly heating up and cooling down. The car includes other MLC options such as lightweight alu parts, clutch and brake disc. In terms of set-up he is running harder shocks and softer sway bars in order to find more traction and better side bite.
